As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Auto Technician Responsibilities
Required Competencies:
- Attendance daily and on time. (7:45 AM team meetings are required)
- Time Management – Identify and resolve problems in a time-efficient manner.
- Problem Solving – Use diagnostic equipment to gather and analyze information.
- Use knowledge, skills, and experience to develop solutions and effect repair actions.
- Quality - Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; Monitor own work to ensure quality.
- Following service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols.
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, brakes and routine maintenance.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Perform other related non-related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
